Fine Art Fair – Antica Namur, Belgium

Upcoming event: From November 5 to November 15, 2026

From Thursday 5 November through Sunday 15 November 2026, Gallery Suma will participate in Antica Namur, one of Europe’s oldest and most renowned art and antiques fairs. For more than 48 years, the fair has welcomed over 20,000 visitors annually and brings together approximately 120 distinguished galleries from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Luxembourg, and beyond.

This edition marks a special moment for us: Antica Namur will be the first art fair in which we participate under our new name, Gallery Suma. A new name and identity, but with the same passion for high-quality Art Nouveau and Art Deco and the exceptional objects that define our collection.

Antica Namur is renowned for the quality of both its participating galleries and the works of art presented. The fair encompasses a wide range of disciplines and periods, from 18th-, 19th-, and 20th-century art to Old Masters, modern and contemporary painting and sculpture, jewellery, furniture, design, and vintage pieces.

At Antica Namur, Gallery Suma will present a carefully curated collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, with a particular focus on exceptional European decorative arts from around 1900 and the interwar period.

Highlights include refined Viennese art glass designed by Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser for E. Bakalowits, alongside the distinctive iridescent Jugendstil glass of Johann Loetz Witwe. One of the centrepieces is an exceptional vase executed in the Phänomen Genre 353 décor, developed for the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris and attributed to Franz Hofstötter.

The presentation also includes an elegant secrétaire in the style of Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, a display cabinet by Maurice Dufrène, an impressive set of wall lights in the Liberty style, and a remarkable bowl by Auguste-Claude Heiligenstein. Together, these objects illustrate the diversity, refinement, and exceptional craftsmanship of European decorative arts from this period.

In addition to furniture, glass, and lighting, Gallery Suma will present a selection of authentic lithographs and other distinctive decorative art objects, carefully sourced through our international network.

During the fair, we will be delighted to tell you more about the provenance, designers, techniques, and historical background of the individual objects. We warmly invite you to discover the collection of Gallery Suma at Antica Namur.
