Does your heart skip a beat when you find a rare and beautiful object? Do you have a passion for antiques? Then you’ve come to the right place. Antiques Emporium was born from my passion for antique objects and sharing them with other enthousiasts.

My passion for art started at a young age, sparked by the stories and beauty of old objects. I would entertain myself for hours listening to the intriguing stories behind these objects. As I grew older, my own collection began to grow and I found my great passion in the splendor of art, especially objects from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods.

Although my interest in art has always been strong, I turned to engineering because of my family’s technical background. Throughout the last decade, I worked as a product manager and shareholder in a sustainability company. My deep-rooted drive to help people and make them happy came into its own in sustainability, but the passion was missing.

In mid-2018 I decided to say goodbye to my professional role in sustainability. In the subsequent period, there was room for projects that energized me, such as setting up a foundation and allowing my passion in art to flourish. My collection started to grow considerably with the well-known “once in a lifetime pieces,” which I rushed to personally pick up in Switzerland. Several times I have said to myself: “this purchase only happens once in a lifetime.” After saying this three times in two months, it became clear to me that I had to combine my heart’s desire to help people and make them happy with my passion, and thus realize collector’s dreams.
