Description:
Johann Loetz Witwe vase executed in the Cytisus decor in the color scheme “Neurot” (New-red), circa 1902. This Cytisus vase features a random pattern of blue bands, reddish-brown veins, and yellow iridescent dots across its entire surface, all set against a base color of Neurot glass.
The floral Art Nouveau silver decoration was applied by Alvin Silver Company, New York, and features an iris design on both sides of the vase. The silver is marked with the silver content “Fine 999/1000,” the “Alvin” silver mark, and the decoration number 107.
