Description:
The succesful decor Nautilus is introduced by Loetz in the year 1903. This kind of glass is blown in transparant glass Candia with a hammered texture (Martelé) and decorated with applied prunts and in some cases tadpoles with applied silvery yellow granules. This Nautilus has an exceptional height of 365mm / 14.37” what is very unusual and what makes it also very rare and desireable.
This vase is made for J.& L. Lobmeyr, Vienna around 1903. The design of the vase is production number 1181/584 – 02
