Description:
This impressive Johann Loetz Witwe vase shows many similarities of “Luna” decor, which was exclusively made for Bakalowits in Vienna. However, the glass has a somewhat satin finish and a different color blue, which raises doubts whether this type of glass with the characteristic uranium glass can be attributed to Luna.
The vase is marked on the bottom with the number 212, which indicates the coding of the decoration. This type of DEK is not known until now and is a great asset in the attribution of DEKs for the website www.loetz.com.
