The vase has a surrounding decoration of stylistically designed gazelles, overhanging palm trees and plants.
The vase is executed in a thick layer of colorless glass with silver foil inclusions over which a blue layer of glass is applied. The decoration is obtained by etching layers of glass which at its deepest point is 4mm. The depiction has a very nice depth which they achieved by etching several layers of glass just over the silver foil and matting the blue top layer on just the palm trees.
This vase bears no “Muller Frères” signature, but identical models of this vase are included in the literature of Muller Frères.
