Description:
This plaque is made of bronze and was most likely made in France. The plaque depicts an elegant woman surrounded by large leaves in the background, sitting relaxed, but leaning on a dais and holding a cloth in her right hand over her palm. The lower half of the plaque is richly decorated with various buds, flowers and leaves.
The plaque is made in a high relief with a part of the scene decorated with gold paint.
The object is signed on the front and dated with the year “1900”.
