Describtion:

This elegant Johann Loetz Witwe vase is executed in one of the most famous Lötz decors, namely the Papillon decor. The Papillon decor was introduced in the year 1898 and is probably one of the most used decors executed on Loetz designs.

The glass vase is blown in ground color cobalt blue. The elegant shape of the vase is enriched with 3 indentations at the base of the vase and a nice wide, flattened mouth. Furthermore, the vase has a very beautiful iridescence and is in undamaged condition.
