Description:

This beautiful Jugendstil vase was produced by Johann Loetz Witwe in the Orbulin decor. The Orbulin decor was produced from the year 1902 and was a great success. This vase was produced in commision for A.Rupp who had a collaboration with Loetz from the year 1898. A.Rupp was a retailer with a shop in Vichy and later in Nice, France. They sold decoration and art objects that were largely produced in Bohemia.

The Loetz Orbulin decor is almost identical to the Loetz Diaspora decor, the difference lies in the fact that the iridescence (Silberiris) does not extend over the entire surface of this decor. This is in contrast to Diaspora where the iridescence continues throughout the relief.

The original retail label of A.Rupp Meisterdorf is completely intact on the bottom of the vase.
