Description:
The succesful decor Nautilus is introduced by Johann Loetz Witwe in the year 1903. This kind of glass is blown in transparant glass Candia with a hammered texture (Martelé) and decorated with applied prunts and in some cases with tadpoles with applied silvery yellow granules. This Nautilus vase is designed in two different heights and this example is the smallest one of the two.
This vase is exclusively made for J.& L. Lobmeyr, Vienna around 1903. The design of the vase is production number 1181/567 – 02.
