Describtion:

This elegant decorative vase was manufactured by Charles Schneider under the line of “Le Verre Français” in the motif “Cosmos” and produced in the last period of Le Verre Français, namely between 1928 and 1930. This motif is produced in two color variations. The Cosmos motif is a stylistic design of the flower cosmea, which occurs in similar color schemes in nature.

The vase was blown on a turquoise base with inclusions of yellow and a top layer of dark red glass. This top layer of glass was then worked into this decor using an etching technique.

At the top of the base there is an engraved signature “Le Verre Français.”
