Description:
This modernist glass vase was made by Charles Schneider, Epinay-sur-Seine, France. The vase is executed in model number 1767 in the series: “A Côtes”. The vase is blown in transparent glass that changes to a deep purple color at the base of the vase with a very decorative vertical geometric decor obtained by etching technique.
The Art Deco decor of “A Côtes” was created by the glass master Charles Schneider during the period 1919 to 1922.
The vase is signed at the base with “Schneider”.
